The Kitchen Challenge

My challenge to all is to experiment in your kitchens and create magic. Children (and husbands!!!) could be fast learners!!!

I had sent a packet of fish masala inadvertently to my pure veg Gujarati friend. Instead of being chided, I got a very excited note from him about a Gujarati dish he had made from it with onions, tomatoes and a generous sprinkling of fine sev.

That, my friends, is the Great Indian Kitchen's "Jugaad"... The magic created in our kitchens!!

The kitchen could be the ground where family ties are strengthened, especially in these days and times where gadget addiction and social media are breaking up families.
